About

Hi! I'm Vackarash. I live in Japan, and you may know me from my accordion covers of video game and anime music on YouTube. Most of them were made during my university years and shot on a single iPhone in my bedroom in between classes and gaming sessions.

I'm not a critic or reviewer. What I enjoy is gathering what's out there on a topic and putting it in order, so the next curious person has an easier time finding their way. That's what most guides on this site are for. Transcribed comes from the same place: interviews about early Falcom that, read together, show how things were back then.

Moving to Japan was the reason I stepped away from YouTube, and I came back in 2024. Life looks different now: less accordion, more reading, literature, philosophy and language learning. It is a humble life I enjoy.

Everything I make is linked from the Index. If you'd like to get in touch, email me at vackabox [at] icloud [dot] com.
